Organize the local filing
Ask the responsible registrar how to present the CNI and other records and how both partners complete their application requirements. Confirm local counseling arrangements if applicable. Note who is responsible for collecting each outstanding record and which office can confirm acceptance.
Plan around a license, not a proposed date
In the ordinary process the public notice runs for ten consecutive days. Once the license is issued, check its date and the 120-day validity period. These milestones are different from the date you requested a CNI or made a provisional venue reservation.
Give the day a practical running order
Confirm the authorized officer, the two adult witnesses, the partners’ attendance and any documents to bring. Then arrange transport, photographs and a meal. A small celebration can have a very short guest list while still requiring the appropriate official ceremony participants.
